We ask that each child attending a group lesson brings a folder and pencil, their instrumental book, if needed and their instrument
This also applies to 1:1 lessons, other than keyboard lessons. If they are in a 1:1 keyboard lesson, they are not required to bring their keyboard
Each lesson is 30 minutes long and each term will work out at 6-7 weeks long, depending on the academic calendar.
No, we follow the primary school academic year. A calendar will be issued to you with our welcome email.
Parents are welcome to escort their child to the door, where you’ll be greeted by your teacher. When the lesson is ended your child will be brought back to the door and seen that they are with a parent or guardian. We kindly ask that you wait in your car for the duration of the lesson.
It is not mandatory for our students to perform, though we encourage them to brave the stage. If they don’t wish to take part in any upcoming showcases, there will be opportunities in future showcases to be involved.
Currently we offer exam preparation for RIAM Grade exams and the Academy of Popular Music Vocal exams. These are only available for 1:1 and we recommend starting these from age 9 and up.
Yes, you can be put on our waiting list if you wish and will be contacted if the slot you require becomes available.
Payment is only accepted through our online booking system. Having created your account, you will then be able to view and book lessons for your child.
